Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981 and has been a board member of the SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors of Speech of Fire. She was also the producer, costume/set designer writer/composer, and the text coach for SSC while she served as its Artistic Director. Though she typically led inside her ensemble of actors In her final year as an actor in SSC King Lear, she took on the role of director and light designer.
